Favicon Customization
Your Favourite Icon is called a Favicon and can be a shortcut icon, website icon, tab icon, URL icon, or bookmark icon.
It is in a file format and can be associated with any webpage or website.
Follow the steps to display the Favicon of your choice.
Step 1 Go to Replug Links
Once you choose Replug Links from the top navigation bar, choose the New link option as shown in the image below.
Step 2 Toggle the Favicon button to On
Once you create a new link and enter the details, please turn the Favicon customization switch to On as shown in the screenshot below.
Please note the size and format for Favicons to display perfectly.
Size: The optimal size for creating a favicon is 16x16 pixels, which is the size in which they are most commonly displayed. However, they can sometimes appear in larger dimensions too (such as 32x32 pixels).
File format: The Favicon can actually be either a PNG, GIF, or ICO file. However, ICO files are typically used more than others as the file size is smaller and it is supported in all major browsers. PNGs are used more commonly for IOS, Android, and Windows 10 devices.
When you add a favicon to your site, it may not show up since your browser has 'saved' your site as one without a favicon. You need to clear the cache in your browser or use a different browser.
